Quality Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Formulate, establish, and monitor the Total Quality Program for the facility; report regularly to the Plant Manager on achievements against targets;
2. Maintain compliance with company quality policies, standards, and manufacturing practices;
3. Develop, implement, and maintain a site Quality Management System for all quality activities; organize the induction and maintenance of management programs targeted to quality commitment, resources, measurement-analyses-improvement schedules, in process quality control, incoming inspection, test equipment, calibration control, and similar activities which supplement the QMS;
4. Establish procedures, inspection plans, statistical quality control methods,and acceptance criteria for assuring the quality of incoming material and finished product is maintained in compliance with customer requirements;
5. Manage information availability of the Fisher facility, so to achieve efficient operations;
6. Formulate, implement and monitor a supplier quality program to ensure quality levels are maintained; participate in vendor selection,liaisewith suppliers to achieve quality improvement, andaudit suppliers in accordance with Fisher Controls policies;
7. Actively participate in the resolution of engineering and technical issues that directly or indirectly affect quality;
8. Drive for total customer satisfaction through corrective/preventive action and continuous improvement;
9. Staff and manage the QA department;
10. Perform other management activities asrequired;
11. Responsible for obtaining and renewing manufacturing license and additional quality related licenses.
12. Other assignments required by line manager.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering recommended or equivalent experience required.
2. Knowledge of Machining, Stamping, Injection Molding, Die-casting and various other casting industries; knowledge of American and various world standards; familiarity with ISO9000 series Standard. Fluent in English and Chinese.
3. Managerial experience: 5 years experience in a production/quality supervisory/management position.
4. Practical experience in short-run assembly/ machining operations. Working knowledge of parts made from machining, stamping, die-casting, molding, etc. Competent in both quality management and engineering and committed to quality philosophy. Familiar with ES&H issues.
