Supply Chain Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team to establish and implement global and Asia sourcing strategies to accomplish annual targets and long term goals.
2. Identify and drive on time implementation of direct and indirect materials cost saving plan thru cost containment or cost reduction to meet business needs and annual targets. Promote use of a disciplined gated project management and using the right tools such as e-sourcing or negotiation or supplier shifts to meet cost objectives.
3. Manage and support all product regionalization, New Product Launch and drive all components localization projects to meet cost, lead time, quality and product launch targets.
4. Identify potential suppliers, assess supplier capability, past performance, evaluate cost benefits, risks and perform comparison with incumbent suppliers. Visit and audit new potential supplier with team members to check if supplier is matching BU’s requirements and recommend improvement actions if necessary.
5. Lead the team of SQE on improvement projects such as supplier quality improvement on DPPM, first pass yield, SCAR response and corrective actions, FA on time submissions and work collaboratively with Materials to achieve suppliers On-time Delivery performance goals.
6. Monitor supplier performance and conduct key suppliers’ business review. Recommend suppliers for grow, maintain or exit. This includes having risk mitigation plan for sole sourced items and developing suppliers’ improvement plans.
7. Review and perform price approvals and new supplier approval and system maintenance on SAP.
8. Assess and then develop the competencies and skills of the team by recommending development plans.
9. Collaborate, coordinate and leverage spend with other regional Supply Chain Managers and global resources.
Requirements:
1. Min Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 5+ years sourcing, supply chain management experience in multinational company.
3. At least 3+ years in people supervisory role and with strong leadership and coaching skills.
4. Excellent negotiation and project management skill.
5. Assertive, timely decision making, decision quality and driving for results.
6. Good command of English(written/oral) and Office Software such as Power point, Excel, Words, etc.
7. At least 5 year products sourcing or supplier quality experience in Casting, Forging, Stamping, Machining & etc.
8. Preferable with experience in SAP.
